We have been regular patrons of the tiki hut for over 2 years now visiting 2-3 times a week. We go to see the local bands mostly but have enjoyed the food and drink specials they have had in the past. Unfortunately all of that has taken a nose dive in the past few months. First they limited their live music to fri, sat. and sunday...their food menu though small had some of the best hamburgers I've had..but they have raised the prices and the quality of food has changed, the last few times I had the burger it was awful (maybe cheap hamburg now?) We won't even eat there now... then there is the drinks....well drinks come in small glasses with so much ice there is no drink there... if you order without ice they bring much smaller glass filled halfway...all I want is more soda, I understand a shot of liquor is a shot of liquor..then there is the service.....VERY slow to get drinks, we have had to wait more than 20 mins to order our first drink and when I went up to bar to get it myself I was told I had to wait for waitress at table!!! How ridiculous!!! Anyway, there are so many bars in the area to go to we have decided to take our business elsewhere from now on

I noticed there was only one other review on here and it was old so I do not know if things have changed or not for that patron but we had a great time at the capts. The staff was lots of fun and attentive. The food was delicious and fresh. The decorations are adorable and makes it feel very nautical. This restaurant was a lot of fun to go to and you should definitely stop if you have time. Also, we caught a comedy show which was a great night out while the kids were with their grandparents.

I notice all the reviews are old and I have been dining at Carmines for quite a while but not long ago new ownership has taken over and all is good except the food seems the chef left with the change over and the pizza has slipped down in quality and taste and the food has gone through a change I have mentioned these changes and I will try Carmines one more time if nothing has been corrected I will return back to Papa Joe's or Joe Daddy's for my pizza I have talked to others that go to Carmines and some see the difference and some not Let's hope the new owner solves the problems and brings it back to where it was I don't want to loose a great pizza place

Having eaten at Clancys many times in 20, not recently though. The worst restaurant experience in 15 years. I ordered a Med. Rare Cheeseburger, on grilled white bread. Waitress, being new, explained she need to check with the chef(?) for "off menu" items. When she brought the burger, it was medium, at best. A tiny bit of pink left to the meat and served on dry toast. I told her I wanted one Med. Rare and on grilled white bread. After 3 or 4 minutes she came back and said t was her mistake about the dry toast, and the cook said that the burger was Med. rare, however if I ate it that way it would be half price. Then the manager came to the table in a challenging demeanor sayng that the burger was med. rare. Then the waitress rappeared and asked did I want the burger More or less BLOODY ?????. The only one apologizing for the FIASCO was the inexperienced waitress, they did notask if I wanted something else or tried to make thing right. They shouldn't get away with being such a lousy place.

wallstreet22 wrote about Spirits of Bacchus

My wife and I stopped in for a drink before seeing a show over at the Florida Repertory Theater. The bartender took our drink order, and as he was about to prepare our order, a younger woman sat down next to us. The bartender was obviously smitten over the young lady, and he started up a conversation with her, and asked her drink order. He prepared her drink and then came back to us, looking like he forgot what we ordered. My wife said she wanted a white zinfandel... With that he snapped and said "I told you we don't have any white zinfandel." Now, I know we are not in the prime of our lives, but there still should be a certain level of respect a person should receive when gratiously extending their patronage to a business. We walked out of Spirits of Bacchus - Never to come back. Sometimes all it takes is one bad experience to make a decision whether to return or not. Unfortunately for Bacchus, it was the experience we received that we will never go back.

this restaurant along with it's equally racist customers including the dishonorable judge Schrieber from our fort Myers court system , where a complete disappointment when I decided to take my wife for a bite to eat we were rudely boo'ed out of the establishment by an entire bar of drunken Klan members. the waitress even omitted to being a Klan member. she said that I may stay however my wife has to leave due to the color of her skin, previous to being escorted out the door by a rusty old fire arm. don't get me wrong this behavior is to be expected by ms. Shcrieber who is responsible for a majority of infant deaths in and around this area based on poor and bias judgement, but to see the local citizens of cape coral participate in such a bile unhealthy lowdown hurtful means of interracial anti-socialism, it just makes me sad. I am told that none of these actions are illegal, but it's just not nice...?????

Myself and a few friends have been going to The Dek for quite some time now. It seems as though every time we go, usually on Wednesday for "wings", there is only one overworked, overstressed waitperson on duty. That person takes orders from EVERYONE there, makes the drink orders and at times, unless someone from the kitchen staff drags themselves out from the back to deliver your order (sometimes with items in it that you didn't order) has to do that also. I feel bad for this person and so, I would have to say overall that the food is great but the service SUCKS! (thanks to management not putting more wait-staff on especially during the busy hours.

Client_A wrote about THE OMNI CLUB

A lot has changed at Omni during the last year… and NOT for the best: -Their monthly membership price is a rip off. If you want to renew your old contract or sign up as a new member you will be paying an additional $50/mo. I used to think $100/mo was a bit pricey but their present fee of $150/mo is just beyond absurd. Oh yeah, you get the same classes and amenities you were getting before but now you pay more… so I downgraded my contract to their basic $40/mo contract that doesn’t require a year contract (I can cancel anytime) from my $100/mo YEARLY contract. -They have done away with their “women only” workout area. It became a “cross fit” space that seems to be empty on a regular basis. So, if you are a female new to the fitness life or simply prefer privacy when sweating away in your work out… you can forget about that. The general gym area is just not designed to be a friendly environment to women. -They no longer offer free passes if you were to bring a guest. As a matter of fact, I brought my boyfriend a few weeks ago and instead of offering him the “14 day guest pass” they advertise on their website, they charged him to work-out and didn’t even offer to give him a tour. -The staff has changed… they had some incredible trainers and class instructors that are no longer there… such as the instructor that created their “Fight Club” program. Currently, the pm class is taught by “fill in” instructors that diminish the experience from what used to be a fantastic class. -Last but not least… their sales staff is highly unprofessional and a disappointing first impression of what used to be an incredible facility. I had the misfortune of having to interact with one of them… by the end of our encounter, besides disrespectful and insulting, he had also lost Omni the hundreds of dollars my yearly contract represented. I walked out of the gym shaking my head and wondering who in his/her right mind would hire such an individual to do sales?! In conclusion, Omni is a shadow of what it used to be and NOT worth the steep membership fees.

The Dek is by far my favorite bar in Cape Coral, perhaps even in all of Southwest Florida! I meet friends here several times a week for cocktails and converstaion, and enjoy every minute of it! They have great entertainment- Derek & Tito on Monday nights is the best, but every night is something different - Thursday nights the ladies from the band, Soap Box bring down the house! There is a different band every weekend, and unlike most bars in my area, they have a DIFFERENT band on Saturday than they did on Friday, which is huge to me because who wants to hear the same band TWO nights in a row?? Oh, and their food is spectacular! They have a deal - $13 for a Large Pizza & Pitcher of beer which is unheard of! Their pizza is EXCELLENT! They have 25 cent food specials during the day and their bartenders are unbelievabley HOT & the nicest girls I've met - especially Reggie on Tuesdays & Wednesdays during the day!!! If you get a chance to go to this bar, don't pass it up! Its a great place for locals, and if you're visiting the Cape, stop in here to see where the locals hang out!

I've wanted to check out this place for a long time, but haven't had the chance, but luckily I got out there today and to be honest I almost didn't go in. The place doesn't look like much, but it's the epitome of a dive bar with dive bar food. I had the 1/3 Burger and it was made to order and the fries and side of O-Rings were great. The place doesn't look like much, but that doesn't mean the food isn't delicious. Definitely recommend it and I will definitely be going back at some point.

it's where you usually end up when you're already drunk and it's almost last call. that way you have no idea how GROSS it is. lol. decent beer selection and there's usually a decent drink special, though. staff is generally really nice. the owner is a complete douchebag though- and seems to aaaaaaalways be lurking around, poorly dressed, and waiting to be rude to someone. but, eh... you're alredy drunk, so what does it matter, right?

i used to come here all of the time. i'd always go in when i was out... bring family and friends visiting from out of town there for dinner. however, the quality of the clientele and staff has deterioriated to the point where you only belong there if you are a thug or criminal. i can't even put into words my disappointment and disapproval for this establishment. they obviously do not perform background checks, nor is there ample security to ensure customer safety. i speak from personal experience. horrible staff. nonexistent security. management MIA. enter at your own risk.

the bouncers and door staff are usually super nice. however... be advised that if you enter this club, you will be mingling with the lowest LEVEL of society. the clientele is trashy, violent, rude, crude, and socially unacceptable. if you're not concerned about the staff robbing you (as seen in previous posts)- you can certainly worry that another patron will. just saying...
