Under no circumstances should you eat in this restaurant. I had an oyster platter consisting of 3 very different types of oysters. They all tasted the same. Something I've never experienced before. The mojito that my wife ordered was half ice, tasted terrible and had more decorations, including a monkey, than alcohol! They charged us for it even though we sent it back. Worst of all however were the main courses. My wife's crab cakes had little to no crab and my scallops florentine were horrible. No taste whatsoever. I've eaten all over the wolrd and this restaurant has the distinction of serving one of the worst meals ever!

If your are looking for a good place to eat this ain't it. Canned sauce and boxed pasta, for way to much money. They use a bushel of garlic on everything to cover up the taste of bad food in hopes that most people will not know the diffrence. I have gave them more than one chance for some reaon and have been let down for the last time last week. I have eben asked some friends we meet from time to time in other eateries close by and they have all said the same thing. They tried it once and did not go back. The food is better at Nick and Stella's at least I know I am going to get canned sauce and boxed pata there and the price reflects it. I do not mind that at all. It is when some place tries to lead me on with crap like this place that upsets me. My 5 year old grandson knows more about how to prepare good food just from watching the cooking channel with us.

I am the owner of Petes - we do not allow any pets due to Board of Health restrictions and due to the fact that a nearby restaurant was sued by a customer because they were bitten by small dog brought in by another customer. We are pet lovers ourselves but do not take our dog to dinner with us. I am sorry that Shirley is unhappy with our rule, but there is good reasoning behind the rule - we are abiding by the rules given us by the Board of Health. Thankfully most of our customers come here for our good food, good service and wonderful view.

Used to always go to Petes when on the beach. Last time there though was advised they don't allow pets. To bad for them sat at a table at Wahoo Willies right next to Petes who gladly allowed our 2 small dogs. Food and drink was great we enjoyed it this was our first time there. Kind of had to chuckle when an employee at Petes was handing out menus to people walking by trying to get their business and they denied us cause of small pets.

We vacation in Marco Island one every 2 months or so and I have been to Capt. Brien’s Off The Hook Comedy Club every single time we are down there. We love the comedy shows which never disappoint. The food is really good and the prices are the same as any other seafood restaurant on the gulf coast. The comedy shows are always packed so obviously a lot of people like the place. It’s for sure a great time and I would recommend to anyone.

I would like to first off apologize for the above post. If you are removed from our club it is for a reason. Now you or someone in your party was more then likely acting out. We will not tolerate rude or offensive behavior in our establishment. No matter how many bottles you buy or how much money you spend or have. Our main concern is the safety of our employee’s and clients. As for the credit cards being ran through several times. We do from time to time have issues with our server. We have recently updated all of our software and removed the kinks that we had associated with this happening. We do in-deed answer phone calls as well as return phone calls of people who have contacted us. I know this first hand because I receive the majority of the phone calls and handle each issue. With that being said. We do not answer phone calls at 12am or later. Let’s be serious people just because we are a night club does not mean that we don’t have our own lives and families at home. The club hours are listed and you are more then welcome if you have complaints about your credit cards to come in during the early business hours to get your credit card situation settled out. That being said if you show up at the club at one am and we are packed. I can not guarantee you that a manager is going to stop what they are doing to fix your transactions. Come in when we open at 9pm and have it settled out. Other then that. We are packed always. We are the biggest night club in downtown Fort Myers and we are under new ownership since the passing of our beloved owner Roger so we are still working out the kinks. If you think it’s easy to just up and run an establishment after going through the tragic loss we endured you are sadly mistaken but we are making it and working it all out to help serve South West Florida.

The bartenders are friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced, and Happy Hour lasts 12 hours. Ladies night on Wednesday lasts for 7 hours. The tv's are the best quality and the bowling machine looks great also. Just a great place to relax and have fun.

South Beach Grille is a great place to eat at. Wonderful food and great chocolate martini. The best chocolate martini's on Ft. Myers Beach. The early bird time is the best time to go. I try to eat there at least onces a week when I am in Ft. Myers Beach.

Hustlers has the MOST beautiful waitresses in SW FLA...No lie, no exaggeration! Their servers are friendly, attentive and have great bar & drink savvy. Tons of billiards tables, two REAL dart boards and spacious "paved" parking. Plenty of TVs (one HD on the back wall for all to watch). However, their selection is limited to local & state sports as well as any FOX Sports, ESPN and Network broadcast. No special Direct TV PKG available (even though they HAVE Direct TV) and that would be the ONLY thing I would change. They have Lingerie Nights on Mondays (showing off more of those beautiful waitresses), Tuesdays is Ladies Night and Karaoke (lots of GREAT singers there, ... REALLY), Texas Hold 'Em M,W, & F, Bands on Saturdays and Free Pool all day Sundays.

I will never return to this restaurant due to poor service and unbelievably overpriced food that wasn't that good. Comedian was NOT funny and dropped well over $100.00 for 2 people. Drinks were very expensive and weak. VERY DISAPOINTED Capt. Brien!
