Flashed: The Taste of The Beach
The 16th annual Taste of the Beach was held on Sunday, May 15 on the campus of the Bay Oaks Recreational Center on Fort Myers Beach from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event was sponsored by the Greater Fort Myers Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and also featured a business fair. Restaurants that participated included Big Game Waterfront Grill; Doc Ford’s; Parrot Key Caribbean Grill; Charley’s Boathouse Grill; Yucatan Beach Stand; Nemo’s On The Beach; JoJo’s at Pink Shell; Skye’s Mexican and More; Surf Club; Chloe’s at Diamondhead Beach Resort; The Fish House; The Sandbar & Grille; Merlo’s Bar & Grille; Maria’s; and Chunky Tuna Café and Bakery. --Emily Griggs, Brett Vermeul and Sheila Dennett
