Headcount
The Headcount setlist varies as they cover music from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and today's current music. The loyal following of Headcount in the tri-county area continues to grow. After 4 consecutive years of performing just about anytime and anywhere around, the band's appeal/popularity continues to grow each show with no end in sight.
Nominees
Strange Arrangment
The Brothers Van Kirk, Warren and Greggory, create multi-generational music that is hard to be labeled as just one particular genre. The band expands beyond just music, as they are also involved in other arts including film creation. Strange Arragement offers a wide array of techniques and their sounds range from smooth to funky, hip hop, pop, Latin and swing. Strange Arrangement has a large following of fans and you can find their grooves live at various community events, charitable functions and bars across southwest Florida.
A200
This popular bar band spans beyond the Southwest Florida bar boundaries as they have spread their own "brand of rockin' originals" across the nation. Each of the five members contributes their unique vocals to the variety of songs, so you’re likely be impressed with their wide range of material. The band sells their CDs and t-shirts at their over 300 shows each year, so it’s no mystery why Southwest Florida has become such a fan of A200.
Common Ground
Common Ground truly has a multi-faceted approach to making reggae music that incorporates various sounds of funk, surf, ska, blues, ska and jazz. The sound of Common Ground is filled with catchy hooks and upbeat rhythms that's infectious and leaves people of all ages wanting more.
Soapy Tuna
Soapy Tuna is Southwest Florida's most popular cover rock band. The specialize in covering current music all the way back to the good old school rock of the 70's. Members of Soapy Tuna vary to fit the venue size and can become a duo or trio with a variety of members, electric or acoustic or as they call it "acoustic tuna". They cover such bands as the Stone Temple Pilots, Lynard Skynard, Led Zepplin, Janes Addiction, Godsmack, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Alice In Chains, Collective Soul, Doors, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more.
